KOOTENAY ROCKIES
Done while in the employ of Driven Media Inc, this simple and effective logo has become a very prominent one in the Kootenay Tourism industry.
SMOKIN' GRILL PRODUCTS
When this company came to me, they had a great vision for a unique product in the world of grilling products. What they needed was a visual representation of that vision to carry them to markets worldwide. Smokin' Grill Products is now an international company with production facilities in Texas, California, and Vancouver. This logo has helped them focus their vision and set the direction for the labels and website.
FAN ACTION NETWORK FOUNDATION
The Fan Action Network was set up by an Edmonton area fan of pro sports to help give the sports fan a political voice in the sports world. They came to me to give some direction, and we continued on by designing everything from business cards to ball caps.

Designed on contract for Driven Media Inc, this international humanitarian aid foundation needed something to express the ideas of a helping hand and celebration of life in a human way.
IRONSTONE LOOKOUT
Clanswest Development was in the early stages of creating a townhome develpment in the Crowsnest Pass, AB. They came to me with a desire to reach urban professionals in Calgary and Lethbridge to begin promoting the Pass as a viable option for Vacation Property now that Fernie has gotten so expensive. We are now working on Signage, website, and presentation folders.
FORT STEELE
Fort Steele Heritage Town wanted to refine their vision and appeal to a more youthful market without losing the sense of history. This 'Stamp' logo was created on contract with the team at Driven Media Inc.
BIGHORN HELICOPTERS
Bighorn has been in business for 10 years and has become the area's primary forestry and recreational helicopter charter company, with a fleet of 6 helicopters. They wanted to take their old logo and refine it into a more professional look, which we then applied to print collateral and signage.
ECUMENICAL CAMPUS MINISTRY
This Lethbridge, AB. based organization was looking for a recognizable brand to incorporate into their posters, brochures, and other advertising to promote their student events. They wanted something that had ties to the area, as well as implications of students or reading. Through a great creative dialogue came this idea of incorporating a shaft of wheat and a student reading a book and they thought it fit the vision perfectly. The final typography incorporates lines that are similar to the logo, and is still bold enough to stand out on many types of media.
[re]sound BAND
Marking my first time working for someone in Japan, this Tokyo-based band was looking for a graphic style to use on posters to advertise events. Together we solidified the name of the band, then I created this edgy graphic that used grit and a hip feel to let people know where they stand musically.
COLUMBIA BASIN TRUST
After several other successful projects with the good folks at Columbia Basin Trust, the I.T. department approached me about designing this small emblem to help build team unity.
MOUNT CARMEL BIBLE SCHOOL
This logo began as a website design in need of a logo. The website design never made it to production, but the logo they kept and are using well.
CHERRY CREEK ESTATE
The team at Driven Media approached me about designing a logo and website for this high-end accommodation estate in the St. Marys River Valley. Eidleweiss flowers were a motif there, and we wanted to interpret it in a classy, contemporary way. We then carried the subtle lines across to the website.
PURE THIRST APPLICATIONS
My partner in crime, Shane Mackay, feelance programmer and code superhero was forming his business and needed a logo to capture his vision of fluid, dynamic applications, web content management and database development. We took this look and feel to through to the website and business cards.
AS THE CROW FLIES
This local band has national airplay on shows like 'The Vinyl Cafe' and 'Richardson's Roundup'. Since I play Mandolin in the band, there is plenty of opportunity to play around graphically. This logo was printed on the letterpress and then vectorized for electronic files. We have since applied it to website and album covers.
SPRING CREEK RANCH
This organic ranch was looking for a clean, modern logo to aid in the marketing of their top-quality product to larger markets in Vancouver and Calgary. I used the fresh green and the range fence to imply the rest of the picture: open fields, free range cows, and a very fresh product.
INTERIOR SERVICES
Prominent are businessman Kurt Swanson approached me about creating a logo for their latest venture. Clean, human, stable.

MAAG
Not that I advocate entering contests, but this was done on spec for a Nelson Logo contest for the Museum and Art Gallery (MAAG). They didn't pick the logo, but I liked it just the same.

PARAMEDIC
This logo was taken from the idea of a red cross, with a bit of a twist to it. It gives the idea with the colours, but we wanted to modernize it. The font is custom-made for the band to suit it, and the swirls added a splash of colour just where it was needed.

RONALD ZIMMERMAN, Ph.D.
From out in the wild blue yonder came this call for some personal ID work. Berkeley, California's chemical biologist par extraordinare, Ron Z. needed a bit of a logo for his new consulting company. Bluebeetle Creative delivered the goods and got him hired into his dream job. Splice on.
